ANTHONY KAREN

Anthony Karen is responsible for the remarkable photography featured in the film & this site - having spent the better part of the past decade documenting the lives of those involved in the White Power Movement and the Hard Right with compassion & humanity.

His photography has been featured in LIFE, Time, Mother Jones, The Washington Post, Slate and on NPR radio. Inside the Westboro Baptist Church, Anthony’s collaboration with LIFE, received two MIN Editorial Awards in 2011. In the same year, Anthony was the recipient of the George A. Robinson IV Foundation grant for his humanitarian work and a Best Of Photojournalism - Cliff Edom’s New America Award.

He’s previously collaborated on 2 documentaries - KKK: Beneath the Hood (Discovery Channel, 2013) and Ku Klux Klan en passport Pampliega (Cuerdos de Atar TV in Madrid, 2019).
